Meet Lucy - A Sweet, Lonely Dog That Needs You!

Lucy Needs Your Help!

Adopt Lucy!

Lucy was relinquished by a woman who lost her home and had no choice but to give Lucy to us. Because Lucy is about 7 years old and a "generic brown dog," days turned into months without prospects for adoption or fostering. Now, a little over a year later, shelter life is starting to take its toll on this sweet dog.

Lucy's eyes look sad, and she's no longer excited to go for walks. It's only when she gets in the car and heads to an adoption event that her tail starts to wag, and she comes alive. We are a no kill shelter, but that doesn't mean that a dog like Lucy doesn't desperately need your love. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Lucy, please contact Dawn at 213-840-0153.Adopt Lucy
