Spay/Neuter clinic in Compton helps 150 pets

kitty_visits_BAF Bark Avenue Foundation is so blessed to have the most amazing organizations that selflessly helps make these clinics possible. Without their support, we wouldn’t be able to save so many lives and help so many members of our community. Thank you all so very much. It takes a village to save animals, and we are so grateful to the following organizations for being a part of ours.

The Abbey Foundation made this event possible by sponsoring and helping organize the mobile spay neuter clinic in Compton this past Saturday. The Abbey Foundation is dedicated to solving the dog overpopulation issues in Greater Los Angeles and we are excited about working together to achieve our shared mission!

Superior Grocers continues to be a valuable community partner, as they continue to offer hosting of spay/neuter clinics at their Compton Ave./Florence parking lot and at their Cesar Chavez location as well.

Pet Food Express helps Bark Avenue Foundation feed the hungry! Their generous donations of cat and dog food allowed us to provide free food to every person that got their pet fixed. Pet Food Express has 54 stores throughout California including Pasadena, Tarzana, Rolling Hills Estates and soon in Beverly Hills. Please help support this wonderful business by shopping with Pet Food Express!

1st Care Animal Health Clinics Inc works alongside Bark Avenue Foundation and our spay/neuter providers to offer low cost vaccinations. Their team is knowledgable and tireless. The line was never ending and their smiles never faded. Thank you, 1st Care!

Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies, a Los Angeles based pet supply company that is known for giving back, generously donated flea and tick treatment with every low cost vaccination to help keep pets comfortable and safe from parasites in the coming months. Thank you Centinela Feed for putting the animals first!

Shelter Me is a long-time partner and friend of BAF. Without Shelter Me and its founder, Steven Latham, we could not have offered this wonderful event in Compton. Together, we’ll continue to do great things for the people and pets of Los Angeles! Visit ShelterMe.com and text the word PETS to 41411 to see shelter pets that are available for adoption.

Please help us provide more low-cost spay neuter services by making a donation today!
