Humane Education At It’s Best

The Fall School session has been a busy one for BAF’s Humane Education team of educators and volunteers. We’ve had the privilege of presenting our program in various schools including Garza Primary (East LA), Huntington Drive Elementary School, Canyon Charter School, Boys & Girls Club of San Gabriel Valley, and more.

BAF’s Humane Education program inspires children to feel empathy and compassion for animals and all living creatures through simple lessons on responsible pet ownership with an emphasis on shelter pet adoption, basic pet care (including spay & neuter, pet training, exercise, etc.), and overall kindness.

If you would like to learn more about this program and/or would like to bring us to your school, then please contact BAF’s Humane Education Program Coordinator Lisa Potiker at lisa@barkavenuefoundation.org.

Please consider donating to this program to help us continue this valuable work and creating a more compassionate world.
