Every year it feels like the holidays and year end have barely passed and then they’re back again. I’m sure you’ve all been busy celebrating, planning travel, shopping for gifts, and making your year-end donations, and we’ve been busy, too!
This is a big events season for all, and non-profits are no exception. We’re thrilled to be included in so many community festivities, as well as having our own regular activities with spay/neuter and humane education.
Of course, we all are looking forward to… THE FOOD! Be sure to keep pets safe by not sharing foods with toxic ingredients like onions, garlic, chocolate, high sodium, bones which can splinter and puncture the esophagus or digestive tract, and high-fat foods, which can make our fur family sick. The safest measure is to keep pets to pet food, but if you are one to share yours with them, do so sparingly to avoid sickness, and be sure to double check if what you’re sharing is safe with a quick internet search.
